Do I need a Bodyguard?

It is the situation that determines whether or not a person needs a bodyguard. The people who need bodyguards know they need bodyguards. Here is a list of types of people and situations that might warrant a bodyguard.

Public Figures, and Celebrities

Public figures, celebrities, actors, and athletes need bodyguards. They might not need bodyguard every day all day, but they do need bodyguards during outings and high profile events making sure they are safe in general.

Government Officials and Politicians

Most government and public officials need protection. Sometimes they will have protection from local law enforcement, state troopers or secret service. These officials can use the aid of a private bodyguard to help in their protection. Bodyguards often work beside law enforcement in many situations. Some public officials, mayors or city council persons will want a bodyguard to secure their residence and to investigate odd situations or people.

People Traveling Both Around The Country And Outside The Country

It is a good idea to carry bodyguards when you travel around the country or outside of the country.  When traveling we sometime find ourselves in unfamiliar territory which can inadvertently place you and your family in harms way.

Poor countries do not have the resources to carry out an investigation if you turn up missing. Does the name Natalie Holloway ring a bell? She came up missing in Aruba a few years ago. We still have no idea what happened to her.

Weddings

You might not think of a lavish wedding as a situation where you would want a bodyguard but, what about all those guests and all the jewelry the bride may be wearing?

A bodyguard can help limit the possibility of a problem arising at the wedding. The bodyguard can keep an eye on the guests and anticipate a problem before it happens. Alcohol causes sane people to do insane things.
